LCF Georgia Civics & Organizing Fellowship
The main goal of the LCF Georgia Civic Participation & Organizing Fellowship Program is to increase civic engagement and promote community development by building capacity and investing in emerging leaders with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to create positive change in their communities and help turn out Latino Voters in the state of Georgia.
This is an annual opportunity. The 2024 Fellowship is closed.
Latino Day at the Capitol
Our annual Latino Day at the Capitol is co-sponsored by 15 organizations and co-hosted with GALEO, this nonpartisan day of community, celebration, and representation is open to ALL, and includes photo ops with legislators, a meet & greet luncheon, educational activities, and a tour of the Capitol. Approximately 250 people participate each year.
Farm Working Families at the Capitol
To kick-off Farm Worker Awareness Week over 80 farm working students and community members from South Georgia visit the state capitol to learn about the legislative process and to meet and speak with their elected officials.
